Moby’s Water Polo Club takes its namesake from the fabled tale of that great whale who, aside from being quite a renowned swimmer, was a little overweight.  At some point in the story, the whale became quite unhappy with developments in the water, as he was outnumbered by annoying and skillful opposition who made him swim in circles whilst inflicting pain – hence relevance as to who we are or at least to where our clubs water polo journey started! 

Today the club provides a fun and welcoming space for players and teams of all abilities and ages – for those just leaving school, to those coming back to the sport, reliving elite athlete days or even trying it out for the first time.  There are female, male and mixed teams playing in a range of competitions throughout the year.
